Lights. Camera. Wedding! While most couples have their own wedding party of friends and family, it’s not everyday that this also includes a crew of 40 camera people and production staff. But so was the case this past weekend when on August 30 Jerseylicious star Tracy DiMarco finally had her big day at Nanina’s In The Park following months of careful planning.
Dressed in a mermaid style wedding dress, the bride walked down the aisle in Nanina’s ballroom, decorated with fresh rose petals, where her groom Cory Epstein was eagerly awaiting. DiMarco got prepared with her party of bridesmaids, who were clad in animal print dresses, in our new bridal suite and had a team of photographers documenting every instant of her special day. For a wedding taking place Labor Day weekend, DiMarco brought in hints of Fall with deeper colors running throughout the festivities, from her red rose bouquet to the gold-colored napkins that adorned the reception tables. The red theme carried over to the couple’s towering white wedding cake, which included an avalanche of frosted rose buds down the side.
Even the couple’s dogs got involved in the festivities with the twin poodles wearing a miniature tux and dress! The dogs also made a cameo at the reception in the form of the groom’s cake. The couple’s Catholic and Jewish backgrounds were equally represented in the interfaith ceremony with both a rabbi and priest officiating the ceremony and traditions from both faiths being recognized, such as signing the ketubah prior to the ceremony and observing the hora by hoisting DiMarco and Epstein in their chairs during the reception.
The couple took full advantage of Nanina’s facilities, having their wedding photos taken on our gorgeous grounds in the hot August sun, with the couple even posing on our famous bridge. The photo session remained playful with the groom and groomsmen revealing that they were wearing superhero t-shirts under their shirts in one especially fun shot!
The party then moved into Nanina’s reception hall where the couple and their guests, which included Mob Wives Ramona Rizzo and star of the Real Housewives of New Jersey Kathy Wakile with her husband Rich, danced late into the night. DiMarco came to national attention as a star of the Style Network’s Jerseylicious, a show that chronicles the lives of Jersey area hair stylists and which is currently filming its sixth season in Asbury Park, with the crew making a stop in Belleville to film the wedding’s festivities. Where last season saw DiMarco getting engaged to beau Cory Epstein, the sixth season will show all the preparations leading up to the big day at Nanina’s when it debuts October 6 on the Style Network. You saw us on season 5 when DiMarco was planning her wedding, now you’ll get to see Nanina’s in full force during season 6 when the wedding airs. One thing you can expect for sure is that New Jersey will be well represented in every way!
